Siemens Medical Solutions and the Bulgarian regional department of Siemens A.G. (Siemens Ltd.) equipped a computer laboratory for the National Academy for Software Development (NASD). The donated computer equipment consists of 16 computers and monitors Fujitsu Siemens Computers and a multimedia projector. The computer lab located in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is used for tuition of the training courses in Microsoft .NET and Java for the students in the Academy. The donation is accomplished with the active support of Dr. Vesselinka Petrova-Koch and acad. Borislav Boyanov, the Chairman of the Association for Advanced Studies, Innovations and Entrepreneurship (AASIE) and dean of FMI. The computer equipment aims to support the start of the Academy - the first incubated innovative company in the Sofia High-Tech Business Incubator.
