Instructors

NASD lecturers are chosen according to rigid criteria for the Academy aims at offering an education of extreme quality, although the fee seems to be high. All who get the permission to carry out lectures in the Academy must have a considerable professional practice in this sphere and to possess certificates from the appropriate programs.

Svetlin Nakov

  Svetlin Nakov

Svetlin Nakov is a director of the National Academy for Software Development where he performs trainings of software specialists for practical work in the IT industry. He is a lecturer in cutting edge software technologies also in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, where he teaches courses in Computer Algorithms, Internet Programming with Java, Programming for the .NET Framework, Network Security and High-Quality Programming Code Construction. Svetlin has a solid professional experience as software developer and consultant. His interests cover the Java technologies, the .NET platform and the information security. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees form the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics in Sofia University. As a student Svetlin is winner in tens National programming contests and has 4 medals from International Olympiads in Informatics. He has tens scientific and technical publications in the area of software development in Bulgarian and foreign magazines and is an author of the books "Programming for .NET Framework", “Internet Programming with Java” and "Java for Digitally Signing Documents on the Web". In 2004 Svetlin is awarded by the Bulgarian President George Parvanov with the prestigious award "John Atanassoff" for his contribution for the development of the information technologies.

Martin Kulov

Martin Kulov

Martin Kulov is .NET director at the Academy and is responsible for the trainings connected to the technologies from Microsoft. He is CEO of the company CodeAttest where he works on a projects for ensuring the high quality of the software products by automating the development process by delivering and adopting of quality control systems. He has long-term professional experience as software developer, trainer and consultant for several leading companies. His major interests are focused on the products and technologies from Microsoft and their applications in the real-life business scenarios. Martin holds MCSD, MCSD.NET and MCT certificates from Microsoft. He has master’s degree in Radio-Communication Technologies from the Technical University, Sofia. Martin has participated as a lecturer in the courses Programming for the .NET Framework and High-Quality Programming Code Construction in Sofia University and is regularly invited for a lecturer in conferences and seminars in the area of .NET platform and software engineering in general. He is one of the authors of the book Programming for the .NET Framework. In 2006 Martin is awarded with the title "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)" for his contribution to the development of the Microsoft Visual Studio Team System community.
